Battery Specialist Lead Auditor

Purpose and Scope: The Ultra Care Lead Auditor is responsible for ensuring proper service by technicians. They assure that all team member work meets or exceeds expectations, and present correctional instruction.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspects, analyzes and audits the work of Ultra Care Technicians, including their performance of maintenance (such as the condition for batteries, cables, the battery area, and the charging area). 
  • Reviews customer service execution and either receives or responds to customer feedback, ensuring satisfaction. 
  • Reviews audit findings and creates response templates for immediate adjustment to circumstances in a continuous improvement environment. 
  • Coaches and trains, with supervision, Ultra Care Technicians (to skill needs identified from audit findings). 
  • Communicates with others (supervisor, company technicians or other departments, as needed), to coordinate necessary repairs and/or resolve customer complaints or seize opportunities. 
  • Provides training to expand technician participation in the sales process by identifying client opportunities, such as service of existing product(s), offering expanded services, new clients, etc., and conveying said information to appropriate sales personnel.  
  • Utilizes existing departmental tools to properly process service opportunities - FRED (Facility Required Equipment Data) and Dynamics. 
  • Represents the company in a neat and professional manner in accordance with company standards. 
  • Practices safety and good housekeeping in all circumstances. 
  • All other duties as required 

Skills / Other:
  • High School graduate or equivalent, required. 2-year technical degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education, preferred. 
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and the internet. 
  • Working knowledge of standard shop tools. 
  • Safety training for Spill Containment and Lead Level  
  • Possess or obtain Commercial Driver's License with endorsement for hazardous materials. 
  • Forklift certified, have or will train. 
  • Clean and current Driver's license (MVR check) in the applying State. 
  • Good understanding of basic electricity/electronics. 

Experience:
  • 2-4 Years of battery industry or related experience, preferably in a field service environment.
