    • Track project readiness, inspection milestones, and test result submissions.
    • Schedule and coordinate commissioning witnesses, utilities, and third-party inspectors.
    • Monitoring Platform Setup & Configuration
    • Create and configure new project sites on monitoring portals such as AlsoEnergy, PowerTrack, Energy Toolbase, SolarEdge, Stem, and Tigo.
    • Upload and validate system metadata including inverter models, CT orientation, communication mappings, weather sensors, and layout files.
    • Coordinate with integrators and client IT teams to establish secure VPN connections, IP addressing, and data flow to client SCADA systems.
    • Verify site data streams and ensures accurate production, irradiance, and environmental reporting prior to system turnover.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Manage all commissioning documentation including pre-functional checklists, test scripts, and performance verification reports.
    • Compile and organize test data, photos, redlines, and field reports into final turnover packages.

    • Compare monitoring data with modeled performance (PVsyst, Helioscope, SAM) to confirm production expectations.
    • Monitor live system data post-commissioning to verify stable performance and identify underperformance trends.
  • Communication & Coordination
    • Coordinate with software vendors and monitoring platform representatives for issue resolution, device mapping, and account management.
    • Support field staff by issuing updated test procedures, equipment configuration sheets, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
    • Ensure commissioning documentation aligns with contractual requirements, utility interconnection procedures, and safety standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL).
    • Track and verify closure of punch list items, corrections, and retests prior to turnover.
    • Support internal QA/QC audits and lessons-learned initiatives.
    • Process Improvement & Support
    • Assist in developing standardized commissioning templates, test forms, and reporting tools.
    • Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements between Engineering, Construction, and QAQC teams.
