Purpose and Scope: The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical components of solar photovoltaic and battery installation projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs electrical testing and provides documentation.
  • Handles tasks involving any or all of the following:
    • DC Meggar
    • VOC
    • Ground Continuity/ Ground resistance
    • IV Curve
    • NEC knowledge
    • Article 250
    • Article 690
    • CBC knowledge
    • Understanding of voltage drop
    • Understanding of temperature derating
    • Create material lists
    • Understanding of polarity, grounding and terminations
    • Bend conduit
    • 4-point saddle
    • Back-to-back 90°
  • All other duties as required

Education/ Training:
  • High School graduate or equivalent, required.
  • OSHA 10 certified.
  • CPR certified.
  • Trained in proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to calculate conduit fill

Experience:
  • 2 Years solar/electrical experience, strongly preferred.

Pay: $33 - 40/hr
