The Project Manager manages the most complex and most strategic projects under minimal supervision. They have experience, knowledge, and skills to manage multiple projects and their primary contribution is project managing client focused projects utilizing in-house support of diverse teams comprised of sales, development, engineering and construction.
Key Expertise:
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management processes and procedures and applied experience acting as a Project Manager in the Construction field. Preferred to have experience in one or more of the following technologies: Commercial Rooftop Solar, Solar Canopy Parking Structure, Ground Mount Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Relations: Foster and enhance relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Customer Requirements Management: Act as a dedicated point of contact for customer needs, ensuring adherence to contract design and functional requirements.
- Project Schedule Management: Establish, update, and communicate the Master Project Schedule, overseeing its effective implementation.
- Preconstruction Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Preconstruction team in the development of projects, providing invaluable insights and expertise.
- Scope Development and Coordination: Assist in scope development, estimating, design coordination & review, and value engineering efforts.
- Risk Management: Identify key risks and mitigation strategies throughout the project life cycle.
- Construction Management Excellence: Oversee construction scheduling, critical path analysis, change control, resource allocation, risk mitigation and quality control strategies to ensure project success.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budget and financial reporting, interpreting and analyzing reports to ensure strict adherence to budgetary constraints identifying KPIs and key metrics supporting project success.
- Safety Protocol Enforcement: Drive the enforcement of safety protocols among project staff, ensuring a secure working environment.
- Operational Review Meetings (ORMs): Keep management and stakeholders informed of project and budget progress through regularly scheduled Operation Review Meetings.
- Contract and Subcontract Administration: Understand and administer Motive's contract and subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance and adherence.
Key Qualifications:
- Leadership and Organization: Strong leadership and team-building skills, coupled with solid organizational abilities. Proven ability to delegate tasks where appropriate.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of safety protocols and industry best practices.
Experience:
- Project Management Experience: 3+ years of demonstrated project management experience in construction.
Education/ Training:
- Educational Background: Project Management, Construction Management, or related fields is preferred.
Certifications: PMP or other Program Management certifications, training, and/or demonstrated experience is preferred.
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000/year
