The Route Manager position is responsible for the stocking of customer sites. They generate sales through use of their knowledge of company products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a regular schedule of visitation/stocking to customer sites, weekly or bi-weekly (twice within a month).
- Restocks battery racks, adjusting stock levels and rotating product, as necessary heavy lifting required.
- Picks up scrap and warranty product.
- Maintains consignments.
- Retains and expands upon product knowledge, both company offerings and the industry generally.
- Communicates with customers regarding additional product offerings.
- Explains product features, highlighting their abilities to solve customer problems.
- Answers product questions.
- Adds new accounts via 'cold-calls' or referrals.
- Maintains route lists and follows up with customers maintaining and building relationships.
- Collects payments from customers when needed.
- Properly maintains and accounts for inventory.
- All other duties as required.
Skills / Other:
- Able to both give and take directions.
- Detail-oriented.
- Solid communication skills, and personable.
- Customer service oriented.
Experience:
1+ Year of experience involving delivery or sales.
Pay: $40,000 - $50,000 + Commission
