Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Purpose and scope: 
The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of all products and materials inbound shipments receipts, customer shipments, inter-warehouse shipments, and maintaining organization of all inventories on-site. In conjunction with all departments ensure products are maintained and stored in designated locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Receives all incoming products/shipments from vendors and customers
  • Ensures all paperwork for shipments is received and distributed properly
  • Correctly report and document all shipping/receiving damage according to company policy
  • Provides quality service by following organization standards
  • Preserves as safe and clean work environment by keeping aisles, racking and pallet areas neat and organized
  • Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Coordinate with the shop manager and department managers on locations of product storage
  • Maintain the warehouse product locations with daily organization to ensure space is being utilized efficiently
  • Pull products from warehouse racking for orders for various departments if assistance is needed
  • Maintain racking grates to keep all clean and within safety standards to meet operation needs
  • Follow company guidelines on pallet safety for all products within the warehouse
  • Learn, and support the future roll out of a Warehouse Management System that is currently in developmental stages
  • Daily tasks include but not limited to working in repair shop assisting various stations as needed

Education and Training:
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience a plus
  • Forklift Experience
  • Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel
  • Industrial battery or forklift industry a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $21 - $23.50/hr
