Business Development Representative

Purpose and Scope: The Business Development position is responsible for locating, researching and initiating business relationships which then transform into sales.
Responsibilities:
  • Identifies potential clients in the target market and completes appropriate research to determine prospects' business and equipment needs.
  • Contacts and presents company and its products to potential clients.
  • Creates and gives presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
  • Develops burgeoning relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Partners with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals to both current and prospective clients.
  • Negotiates contract terms with clients and communicates those terms to stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed.
  • Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.
  • Regularly reports on activity and sales results.
  • Acts a subject matter expert on company products and services, and remains current on industry news.
  • All other duties as required.

Experience:
  • Proven track record of similar sales success.

Can be based out of Orange County.
Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 + Commission.
