Purpose and Scope: The Commercial Battery Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial AC and DC power systems, with a focus on battery systems. They play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of commercial battery installations, utilizing their expertise in AC/DC electrical systems and low voltage troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial battery power systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
* Diagnose and address issues in AC and DC electrical systems, transformers, generators, and related components.
* Perform preventative maintenance on commercial battery installations to minimize downtime and ensure long-term functionality.
* Utilize computer skills to assist in monitoring and analyzing battery system performance.
* Ensure all required documentation is completed for each job, adhering to company and customer policies.
* Safely transport personnel and materials to and from remote job sites, in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws.
* Maintain schedule flexibility to accommodate travel requirements and job demands.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during job execution.
 
Skills / Other:
* Experience in commercial battery systems, demonstrating a strong understanding of their operation and maintenance.
* AC/DC electrical experience is required, with the ability to troubleshoot low voltage issues effectively.
* Basic time management and organizational skills are essential for efficient job completion.
* Computer skills are a plus.
* Willingness to travel locally to various job sites as needed.
 
Experience:
* Previous experience in commercial battery systems is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of troubleshooting low voltage in commercial settings.
* Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Pay: $26-$30/hr
