- Lead field commissioning activities for Solar PV, BESS, and EV charging projects, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform advanced functional and acceptance testing on AC, DC, communication, and protection systems.
- Oversee and validate system energization, synchronization, and interconnection procedures.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and verify SCADA and DAS systems, ensuring proper integration with utility and client monitoring platforms.
- Validate communication networks (cellular, ethernet, fiber) and ensure redundancy where required.
- Witness and interpret test results for insulation resistance, hi-pot, continuity, grounding, relay/protection schemes, and inverter/battery performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve field discrepancies in one-line diagrams, control schematics, and PLC/RTU programming.
- Train and mentor junior commissioning technicians on safe energization procedures, test equipment use, and best practices.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test result documentation, and as-built redlines.
- Serve as client-facing commissioning representative, communicating technical findings and resolving punch list items.
