Field Service Supervisor

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for the management of field service personnel, their hiring and training.  They provide technical support and manage projects involving field service staff, with a primary focus on excellent customer service.
  • Provides on-the-job training by instructing and educating Field Service Technicians.
  • Acts as a troubleshooting support resource to Field Service Technicians.
  • Provides hands-on leadership during large on-site projects and installations.
  • Represents the company in a neat and professional manner in accordance with company standards.
  • Practices safety and good housekeeping in all circumstances.
  • Conveys information to proper customer contacts. 
  • Safely operates a service vehicle and keeps it in good working order. 
  • Operates a forklift truck and reach truck on a regular basis.
  • Recognizes risks and recommends measures to meet safety and EPA issues.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures (regarding issues such as warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, and hazmat).
  • Actively promotes point of sale items and allied products and services.
  • Ensures work orders are filled out properly and in a timely manner.
  • Communicates with other internal departments (e.g., management and Sales) on any unresolved customer issues.
  • Coaches and trains technicians to utilize and apply their own critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • All other duties as required.

Experience:
5 Years of battery industry or related experience, preferably in a field service environment.

Pay: $70,000 - $75,000
